Fall Family Mini Sessions

Well fall in Utah is officially here.  I am so excited I have decorate my front porch for fall!  We have gone from 80 degrees to 50 degrees overnight and had snow this week.  This is the part of living in Utah that makes me have a love/hate relationship with the place I live.  I love our changes in seasons but the severity in which the changes occur are, to say the least, a down side!  So here we are, the second week of October and the cold weather seems like it is here to stay.  I don't know about you but this puts me into panic mode on several fronts....Halloween costumes, planning the family Thanksgiving dinner and before we know it, Christmas is here.  With Christmas of course comes that family Christmas card which you need the family picture to include which brings me to the point of my entire post.
I call this the Family Christmas Card mini session week (because we all need at least one picture for our family Christmas card).  I will be doing a total of 4 sessions in Utah county on Saturday October 15th and 6 sessions on Sunday October 16th.  They will be 30 minute sessions for $75.  You will receive 5-10 edited photos on CD with your session.  Please contact me to book your session immediately, as they will go fast!

September 11, 2011

I went to our local 911 dedication today.  It is a tribute that our city has been doing every year since 911.  There is a flag for each of the victims of 911.  It is quite an awe inspiring scene.  As a part of the 10th anniversary they added a card to each flag that gave a brief bio on the victim.  I felt a special pause as I took my daughter to see the dedication.  She is only 6 years old and was obviously born after 911.  It makes me very thankful to all that serve our country and have chosen to put their lives on the line for our freedom.  My heart is heavy for all of the families that have to live without one of their family members as a result of the tragedy on this day in history.  All I can say is Thank you and God bless!

Alex

Meet little Alex.  He is the newborn baby to one of my best friend's in the world.  It feels like it took forever for him to arrive but he was worth the wait.  He is so adorable...the perfect combination of both mom and dad!  I'm sure he will be an avid BYU fan but with his mother's sensibility.  Congratulations Keith and Rushell!
